Audio & Video in E-Learning
Those who rely on dynamic content can only win. Audios and images resp. Videos are processed faster in the brain than texts and are much more meaningful. Complex content can be conveyed in a simple way. However, it depends strongly on the type of presentation. Videos and audios should therefore only be made professionally, otherwise it quickly looks implausible and boring.
Synthetic Audio
Speakers are no longer required for audios. Voices can nowadays be generated by a computer program and are called TTS (Text-to-Speech) voices. Other terms are automatic reading machines or speech synthesis, whereby the voice is not synthesized but recorded language segments are optimally linked and thus do not differ much from human language. This type of scoring is mainly used for large orders, as scalability is given.
Real Speakers
The advantage of real speakers clearly lies in their authenticity. For certain subject areas, real and especially own employees are also better suited for setting to music, as this allows trust to be built up and employees automatically know where to get help. Another advantage of real speakers, they can convey emotions and build tension.
